Hole-by-Hole Breakdown

Hole 1 – Par 4

Handicap: 13
Tip for Play:
A rather benign and generous driving area introduces the player to the West Course. The approach is open, although bunkers protecting both sides of the green are in play. Two putts on this gently sloped green will reward you with a par.
Green Depth: 41 yards
Yards:
Black: 403
Gold: 382
Blue: 351
White: 326
Green: 272

Hole 2 – Par 4

Handicap: 7
Tip for Play:
This relatively short two-shot hole with a central bunker keeps the tee shot honest and encourages a number of options. The green is elevated, falling off on all sides and as a result, any miss-hit will be repelled.
Green Depth: 38 yards
Yards:
Black: 411
Gold: 390
Blue: 358
White: 321
Green: 244

Hole 3 – Par 3

Handicap: 17
Tip for Play:
The first one-shooter has water on both sides although it should not come into play. The green is flanked by bunkers on the right and short cut on the left should provide interest.
Green Depth: 38 yards
Yards:
Black: 166
Gold: 159
Blue: 151
White: 132
Green: 101

Hole 4 – Par 4

Handicap: 5
Tip for Play:
A straight-away par 4 that will either play into a cross-wind or with the wind on most days. The landing area is generous except for the longest hitters that will need to avoid the fairway cross bunker. The approach is open in the front; the green has a slight false front and slopes back to front. The left rear pin placement should be respected.
Green Depth: 41 yards
Yards:
Black: 408
Gold: 377
Blue: 341
White: 312
Green: 291

Hole 5 – Par 5

Handicap: 9
Tip for Play:
The first par 5 that should confront all players. Water, strategically-placed bunkers that can be deceptive, and a sloping green will challenge the interest level from tee to green.
Green Depth: 44 yards
Yards:
Black: 501
Gold: 477
Blue: 449
White: 428
Green: 394

Hole 7 – Par 4

Handicap: 1
Tip for Play:
A short-to-mid-length two-shooter that doglegs left. A fairway bunker tightens the landing area and must be negotiated. A bunker short of the green and substantial short-cut approach can be deceptive.
Green Depth: 38 yards
Yards:
Black: 403
Gold: 372
Blue: 351
White: 330
Green: 302

Hole 7 – Par 4

Handicap: 1
Tip for Play:
A short-to-mid-length two-shooter that doglegs left. A fairway bunker tightens the landing area and must be negotiated. A bunker short of the green and substantial short-cut approach can be deceptive.

Black: 403
Gold: 372
Blue: 351
White: 330
Green: 302

Hole 8 – Par 3

Handicap: 15
Tip for Play:
A lengthy one-shooter that plays slightly uphill. Bunkers flanking each side of the green makes for a nervy tee shot. The green is receptive… except for the very back portion. Par is always a good score here.
Green Depth: 51 yards
Yards:
Black: 204
Gold: 182
Blue: 168
White: 151
Green: 126

Hole 9 – Par 5

Handicap: 3
Tip for Play:
An S-shaped three-shot hole with bunkers protecting the inside of the dogleg off the tee. A carefully positioned second shot sets up an approach to a well-bunkered green that is receptive.
Green Depth: 34 yards
Yards:
Black: 535
Gold: 505
Blue: 489
White: 432
Green: 374

Hole 10 – Par 5

Handicap: 8
Tip for Play:
Another par 5 with plenty of interest. Water encroaching in on the left of the tee shot is only the beginning. Fairway bunkers must be avoided on the second shot. The slightly elevated green is well bunkered with no room to miss left.
Green Depth: 40 yards
Yards:
Black: 514
Gold: 508
Blue: 487
White: 465
Green: 434

Hole 11 – Par 3

Handicap: 16
Tip for Play:
A one-shooter with a green that will challenge every player. While the green is open in the front, putting out can defy even the most skilled player.
Green Depth: 36 yards
Yards:
Black: 205
Gold: 188
Blue: 165
White: 143
Green: 130

Hole 12 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 2 / Ladies 6
Tip for Play:
An interesting two-shot hole with cross bunkers on the left set in a plateaued fairway. The approach is to a green that falls off on three sides and will only accept a properly played shot.
Green Depth: 41 yards
Yards:
Black: 391
Gold: 374
Blue: 352
White: 319
Green: 308

Hole 13 – Par 4

Handicap: 2
Tip for Play:
A dogleg right par 4 with a bunker protecting the inside of the dogleg. Be careful not to overly challenge this bunker as the approach comes to a bit of a turtle-back green with some of the green falling towards the rear.
Green Depth: 36 yards
Yards:
Black: 424
Gold: 398
Blue: 378
White: 361
Green: 306

Hole 14 – Par 5

Handicap: 4
Tip for Play:
A three-shot, sharp dogleg left that requires a good tee ball to set up the second shot, where water comes into play on both sides. The elevated green is fronted with bunkers and has a distinct dip bisecting the green.
Green Depth: 45 yards
Yards:
Black: 519
Gold: 503
Blue: 481
White: 455
Green: 444

Hole 15 – Par 4

Handicap: 10
Tip for Play:
A northerly, straight-away par 4 with two small fairway bunkers that need to be avoided. The approach has a forebunker that is deceptive and blocks the full view of the green. Once again, the green has added interest with its contours.
Green Depth: 41 yards
Yards:
Black: 391
Gold: 377
Blue: 360
White: 324
Green: 312

Hole 16 – Par 4

Handicap: 6
Tip for Play:
A dogleg right with bunkers to avoid off the tee. The green is slightly elevated and is protected by bunkers on the right.
Green Depth: 46 yards
Yards:
Black: 399
Gold: 388
Blue: 375
White: 349
Green: 337

Hole 17 – Par 3

Handicap: 18
Tip for Play:
The last one-shot hole is over water to a very wide, narrow-depth green. Club selection is critical as the hollow behind the green will make for a challenging recovery.
Green Depth: 54 yards
Yards:
Black: 166
Gold: 145
Blue: 124
White: 102
Green: 88

Hole 18 – Par 4

Handicap: 14
Tip for Play:
The final hole is a short, potentially drive-able, two-shot hole with multiple options off the tee. Water on the left and bunkers on the right tighten the hole like a funnel as you near the green. The green slopes from back to front and is receptive. Driving the green will surely bring you back!
Green Depth: 42 yards
Yards:
Black: 324
Gold: 282
Blue: 271
White: 253
Green: 220
