Hole-by-Hole Breakdown

Hole 1 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 3 / Ladies 3
Tip for Play:
A moderate, two-shot opening hole with water on the left side that immediately gets your attention. The green is generous while the short-cut surrounding the putting surface is an introduction to the East Course. Welcome back to Jacaranda!
Green Depth: 33 yards
Yards:
1: 434
2: 418
3: 352
4: 341
5: 285

Hole 2 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 9 / Ladies 15
Tip for Play:
A slight dogleg left with the three back tees nestled in a chute. Favor the bunker side of the fairway for a clear approach angle to the green. The approach is somewhat deceptive with devilish pot bunkers to the right. The green slopes right as well.
Green Depth: 39 yards
Yards:
1: 440
2: 417
3: 395
4: 308
5: 275

Hole 3 – Par 3

Handicap: Men 17 / Ladies 17
Tip for Play:
A mid-length one shooter with water in play on the right side. Ideally, the green is receptive with a right-to-left shot; otherwise you are on your own. Pin placements along the right side are difficult to shoot at.
Green Depth: 38 yards
Yards:
1: 182
2: 171
3: 149
4: 131
5: 117

HOLE 4 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 13 / Ladies 11
Tip for Play:
A bit of a “Cape” hole where one can challenge the water for a shorter approach. The fairway narrows a bit for the bold player, so you have a couple of options from the tee. The green is accessible in the front and narrows toward the rear of the green. The back pin is a difficult one.
Green Depth: 40 yards

HOLE 5 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 5 / Ladies 5
Tip for Play:
A straight-away two shooter with a generous fairway. A somewhat challenging mound in the middle of the fairway may slightly obscure the distance to the green. With such a shallow green, trusting the yardage for the approach is essential.
Green Depth: 24 yards
Yards:
1: 444
2: 434
3: 403
4: 361
5: 294

HOLE 6 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 11 / Ladies 9
Tip for Play:
Another straight-away hole with an unusual ridge along the right side of the landing area. The green is flanked with a couple of deep bunkers, the left one being a fore bunker, just short of a slightly smallish, turtle-back green.
Green Depth: 32 yards
Yards:
1: 405
2: 384
3: 367
4: 322
5: 286

HOLE 7 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 1 / Ladies 7
Tip for Play:
Avoid the solitary fairway bunker left on this somewhat “skewed” hole. The slope kicks the drive right and the long hitters may find the lagoon coming into play on the drive. The green is approachable and slopes slightly right in the rear.
Green Depth: 39 yards
Yards:
1: 440
2: 426
3: 397
4: 378
5: 333

HOLE 8– Par 3

Handicap: Men 15 / Ladies 13
Tip for Play:
The longest of the one-shooters. The fore bunker short left is deceptive in distance, being considerably short of the green. The green is sloped back to front and par here is king!
Green Depth: 38 yards
Yards:
1: 257
2: 221
3: 193
4: 172
5: 123

HOLE 9– Par 4

Handicap: Men 7 / Ladies 1
Tip for Play:
The longest of the one shooters. The fore bunker short left is deceptive in distance, being considerably short of the green. The green is sloped back to front and par here is king!
Green Depth: 34 yards
Yards:
1: 535
2: 505
3: 489
4: 432
5: 374

HOLE 10– Par 4

Handicap: Men 2 / Ladies 6
Tip for Play:
On this petite two-shooter, challenge the fairway bunker for the shortest approach. The green is fronted by a fore bunker with the back half of the putting surface falling away.
Green Depth: 35 yards
Yards:
1: 371
2: 365
3: 344
4: 334
5: 308

HOLE 11– Par 5

Handicap: Men 8 / Ladies 4
Tip for Play:
Aim at the bunkers and wail away! The second shot landing area is fraught with bunkers that must be avoided. Depending on where you approach the green, the view of the pin may be slightly masked. The back left pin is the most challenging.
Green Depth: 38 yards
Yards:
1: 582
2: 563
3: 503
4: 488
5: 420

HOLE 12 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 2 / Ladies 6
Tip for Play:
Stay left off the tee on the longest two-shooter for the best view of the green. The approach will thankfully accommodate a run-up with bail out on the right. Distance is key on this hole. Good Luck!
Green Depth: 37 yards
Yards:
1: 485
2: 434
3: 407
4: 355
5: 273

HOLE 13 – Par 3

Handicap: Men 16 / Ladies 16
Tip for Play:
A receptive green for this one-shot hole. Use the slopes of the semi-punch-bowl green for a solid par. Miss-hits to either side make for a difficult up and down.
Green Depth: 31 yards
Yards:
1: 222
2: 216
3: 192
4: 160
5: 150

HOLE 14 – Par 5

Handicap: Men 6 / Ladies 2
Tip for Play:
Avoid the bunker on the inside of the dogleg, off the tee. Water quietly creeps in on the left side and attracts balls on the second shot. A long, undulating three-club green awaits the approach and further beckons a two-putt.
Green Depth: 44 yards
Yards:
1: 587
2: 576
3: 555
4: 501
5: 457

HOLE 15 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 12 / Ladies 12
Tip for Play:
A very generous fairway short of the bunkers on this long par 4. The fairway rumbles over a ridge to a slightly elevated green. A false front and fore bunker add interest while still affording a run up approach.
Green Depth: 36 yards
Yards:
1: 483
2: 446
3: 409
4: 354
5: 316

HOLE 16 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 14 / Ladies 14
Tip for Play:
A very tempting risk–reward hole near the end of the round. This potentially reachable par 4, with its malicious cross bunkers, commands attention from the tee. Consider the table- top-hat green a friend or foe. What are those big-headed drivers for anyway!
Green Depth: 40 yards
Yards:
1: 338
2: 331
3: 306
4: 292
5: 238

HOLE 17 – Par 3

Handicap: Men 18 / Ladies 18
Tip for Play:
A short, diminutive one-shot hole where accuracy is paramount. This slender green is slightly L-shaped with a magnetic hollow on the right side which will attract its share of tee shots. Beware of the front pins as the water may be in play.
Green Depth: 36 yards
Yards:
1: 154
2: 148
3: 133
4: 123
5: 101

HOLE 18 – Par 4

Handicap: Men 10 / Ladies 10
Tip for Play:
A strong two-shot finishing hole. There is ample fairway left of the bunker off the tee. The green is sloped back-to-front and putts down the slope may be quick. Stay steady and finish the round with a par!
Green Depth: 42 yards
Yards:
1: 468
2: 429
3: 399
4: 376
5: 312
